Famous for the Kadyawarcha Ganpati (Ganesh temple situated on a cliff) Anjarle is blessed with one of the secluded beaches in Dapoli. Anjarle has two kilometres long stretch of clean beach with a cover of white sand and is surrounded by palms and trees. Anjarle beach is located near the estuary of river Jog and is about 25 Kilometres from Dapoli *Around Anjarle – * - Kadyavarcha Ganpati The ganpati temple situated on the cliff near the sea, hence called Kadyavarcha Ganpati. Built sometime in 1150 renovated in 1768 and 1780 and again in the 1900s. This is a right trunked Ganpati. The idol is also said to responds to the pleas of its devotees and fulfil their wish. - Mahalakshmi temple It is in Kelshi about 10 kms from Anjarle. Mahalakshmi temple was built during the Peshwa regime and the idol is believed to be swayambhu with a powerful deity. The temple also has the idols of Lord Ganpati and Lord Shiva. This temple is located at the base of the Utambare hill. Near the temple is Yakub Baba Dargah and is believed that the darshan of Mahalakshmi is incomplete without a visit to the dargah. - Yakub Baba’s Dargah This is ‘Yakub Baba’s Dargah which is famous in Kelshi village in Dapoli. This dargah is on a hill near Kalshi coast. It is said that this Dargah is built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Some people say that Shivaji Maharaj started the dargah and then Sambhaji Raje completed it. ‘Yakub Baba’ was the teacher of Shivaji Maharaj. During invasion in Dabhol, Shivaji Maharaj came to know about Yakub Baba and he met him. - Shree Bhargavram temple One of the two Parashuram temples in Konkan, the other being the one in Chiplun, Shree Bhargavram temple is in Ade approximately 10 kilometres from Anjarle.
